With two very small children I was a little anxious as to how the photography session would go and weather the Manchester portrait photographer would get any decent pictures out of it, given their refusal to sit still for any length of time. What really superb photography experience. We wanted to go to a photographer who could cope with photographing a 1 year old baby and a photographer who would be able to interact and make our child feel part of the portrait process rather than just being dumped in front of the photographer. You could tell Andrew, our photographer has his own children as her managed to get our child smiling, moving around and playing with toys rather than with previous photographers where they tried to get a good photograph in between the tears!... and best of all the photographer didn’t mind at all when we had to change a rather smelly nappy on the photography studio floor! When I approached Andrew, a Manchester portrait photographer about having some portrait photographs taken I had never visited a professional portrait photographer before and was quite nervous about the whole portrait experience. However the whole experience was a delight. Our photographer Andrew took endless time and trouble, even though I was not spending a great deal of money, and my 7 year old daughter loved every minute of being photographed and had lots of fun posing for the photographer. As Andrew, the Manchester photographer has children of his own he is very good with children. With two teenagers in tow we did not know how our photographer Andrew Wood would be able to get a good photograph of us all. In fact the photographer made it feel easy and by the end our 16 year old son was really getting into being photographed! We relaxed and laughed and Andrew, the photographer, photographed us at our best. The portraits are on the hall wall now and I find myself stopping to enjoy the photographs every day. Thank you so much for the lovely photographs you’ve had made me for my website. It captures just the mood I was after, and yet I didn’t know quite what I wanted when I arrived! The photographer Andrew seemed to know just what I needed. I felt that the photographer attended to my need 100% and yet the photographer was so friendly and relaxed, that having my portrait taken seemed easy and even fun. When it came down to selecting a photograph, the photographer helped me to make choosing straight forward. The photographer showed me different options, and explained what he was doing along the way. I was so grateful that the photographer understood the technical requirements for a website photograph. It was also fun to see how the photographer played with the photographs, blurring the photos background a little and making my wrinkles more blurry too! The photographer clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Getting my photograph within hours of my appointment was an unexpected bonus. I wasn’t looking forward to having my photograph taken, I was worried that I’d look awful, but I felt very much at ease with the photographer, and actually enjoyed the process.
